Installation
Recommendations
Due to the smaller size of these hinges, the notch should
be cut using a 4" to 5" diameter x 9/32" wide dado blade.
For most cabinet doors, only two hinges are required. For
doors over 36" in length more hinges can be used to control warpage. For this
purpose, use enough to limit the spacing between hinges to 24".
For extra weight -- such as pantry doors with shelves or
racks -- use one extra hinge for each 10 lbs. of load.
Note: A 15" wide x 30" tall door of relatively
heavy construction will weigh between 9 & 15 lbs. We test with this door size |
